Hi folks,
It looks like The Teutonic Kitten's stone age ECU chip job has gone kaput!
I see this as an opportunity to get the whole setup brought kicking and screaming into the 21st Century. The thing is, what exactly will I need?
The old setup probably amounts to a chip job to force the ECU to ignore fault codes, the pressure reading is normally disconnected. Unfortunately, Kitty now runs like a sick pig, but the MAF and lambda check out ok, and currently the only thing the garage can suggest is failure of the chip.
I need to check and confirm whether my turbo is definitely hybrid as advertised, or not. Bear with me while I get that sorted. As I said, simple mod job, probably stiffer WG spring and the chip! I also have bigger than stock I/C (RS2) and de-cat exhaust, but internals are stock AFAIK.
Who's going to be able to do the best job for me on the electronics front?
Any help will be appreciated - I want to get back to full "Kitten Power" soon!
Cheers for now!
