I cannot get 16 AFR in closed loop without external hardware that fakes the lambda signal. The ECU will always aim for 14.7 in closed loop. The valet / economy mode I am suggesting quietly disables active boost control - so it runs to mechanical boost only... About 0.4bar on the factory spring - more if its been wound down - and even more if a big fat spring is fitted. Just an idea at this stage.

Mode 3 = Overrides either 1 or 2 into economy / valet mode

Achieved with two external switches that link into the ECU - I found an area where I can do that cleanly.

Should be viable OK on RR, 3B, AAN, ABY and ADU.

      Does this sound good ?

      I need a few weeks.

Paul, Just got a little package from you.

I've been thinking about what sort of switches to use and want to know what are the electrical requirements / limits for the switches (voltage, current, etc) ... Specifically can I use an LED switch such as one of the two on the links below?

                  LED: Red, 3V DC
                  Contact rating: 0.5A @ 250V AC
                  Contact resistance: <50mΩ

                  Contact rating: 500mA @ 250V AC 1A @ 24V DC
                  Contact resistance: <50mΩ
                  Insulation resistance: >100MΩ
                  LED: 12V AC/DC
                  Dialectric strength: 1000V between poles

                    That was quick alright...

That switch 1064 could be used alright... select a suitable resistor between the red wire (5V) and the hot side of your LED so that when the sport is activated it can illuminate the switch. Just shout if you need help with wiring that up.

I think I do need some help with the wiring .. attached is what I though would work but not so sure now after speaking to someone who though that the black wires would then not get 5V... Is that right and does it matter?
The switch has separate connections for the switch and the led.

Well I installed the new ecu last night, finished in the dark so for now my switches are two pairs of wires coming out of my centre vents...

The standard homefried map is brilliant as many here can attest, felt like the car had suddenly woken up,

The V-sream though is something else! full boost (20 - 21 psi) is almost instantly there on demand. I cant believe its the same car !!

                          Awesome work Paul
