turbo rotation ok to do?

quick question, now i know you can rotate front of turbo housing but can you rotate back wivout any problem? Can i just loosten the 8 nuts and rotate? Reason i ask is because manifold im using makes the turbo sit on an angle and ive been told it needs to sit upright so oil can drain etc.

Andy,

You cant rotate the ex housing as its bolted to the manifold, that said you can rotate the bearing housing and compressor housing so you should be able to get it exactly as you want it..

The oil inlet and outlet can be up to a 30 degree angle.

You will have to rotate one at time to be safe, rotate the centre section whilst on the manifold then rotate the compressor.
