VAG code help please 533

Have code 00553 sorry meant 533 showing.

Where should I be looking to correct this?

that would be your Mass Air Flow.... try cleaning it or fiddle around with the connector plug.

i do believe that it still is the mass air flow.
however if you disconnect the ISV do you get a different code?
try disconnecting either the maf or the isv and see what comes up

Just back from the kitchen as worked it out, muppet!



Will check it out ...

There seems to be a slight flat spot from off, when running along seems fine but then when <1.5 k sems to kinda stop, basically a flat spot.

Not sure whether this may be as I had and MTM installed with RS2 Em on now is a std EM. wouldnt have thought it would make a difference. what do you think?
