the website lists turbos, by manufacturer of turbo, or by car
so i looked at the KKK section and found the AUSF-NR 5326 970 6024 is a porsche part no. for a turbo for the 1982- 956 (635BHP Le Mans car) 2.6L turbo
not sure if its any use to me still though.. lol
Unfortunately this will be of no use to you as this particular turbo would be one of two turbos fitted to that Porsche engine. It's a flat 6 engine of 2.65 litres, therefore each turbo will be responsible for 3 cylinders of just over 1.3 litres, which is very different to a 5 cylinder engine of 2.2 litres
Jamo, in general a K26 will make more power than a K24 by virtue of the fact that it's a bigger compressor wheel, however the downside is more lag

It's a common misconception that a bigger compressor wheel will make more power.
This is not the case as the wheel design must be taken into consideration.
For instance there are new wheels available for the Garrett GT turbo's that are smaller than the originals that make more power.
Most straight K26 make 300bhp same as a K24 except with a lot more lag.
They need to be a hybrid of housing and wheels to get decent performance
Ring MRC and speak to Mihnea and see if you still feel that way

Jamo, KKK in Germany currently produce 24 different K26 compressor wheels for various different applications. Therefore it may well be that there are some K26 compressor wheels that ultimately will not produce quite as much power as some K24 compressor wheels, simply by virtue of their particular design and application. However, as I said in my earlier post, in general, a K26 compressor wheel will produce more power than a K24. Hence why a popular upgrade for the S2 is to fit an RS2 turbo.
Standard S2 turbo has a K24 compressor wheel
Standard RS2 turbo has a K26 compressor wheel
With regard to the Porsche unit in question, it is listed as a K26 turbo. This in fact has a K27 compressor wheel fitted to it, and KKK currently produce over 70 different variations of the K27 compressor wheel.

Dunno I'm late or not, but it is ancient Porsche turbo, reference number 935.123.013.00.
I may be wrong, but it should be capable of at least 400+hp if it is what I think. Main reason - it is basically K27 turbo, has K27 cold side wheel and #10 hot side...
As it is ancient turbo - expect loads of turbolag with it.
You can (ask to) measure compressor intake inside diameter (hole in the turbo through which air is sucked). If it is at least 57mm in diameter - then it is some kind of racing turbo capable of lots hp and lag.

I have read all the topics considerink KKK K26 and there seems to be a general opinion that K26 flows les than 24. I have a K26 from porsch 944 and mtm ecu with 303hp. Would you recomend then runing this ECU with K24 or K26? If the K24 boosts sooner and has more flow then it would make sence runing that remap with stock turbo.
PS sorry for opening an old topic but I want to have a car on the road while I save founds for proper tuning.
