    No Oil pressure....help!

My engine has been stood for 3 months while I did a few maintenance jobs including having the turbo overhauled and work on the water manifold on my 20Vt. With everything back on I decided it best to remove plugs and crank over without pressure on the components until the oil got round. Did this last year, after the install of this engine and expected to see the oil pressure light go out after 15 seconds as last time but this time nothing, did a full 30 seconds and checked for oil in the cylinder head and other than remnants from the last time it was run, Nothing! Checked oil level and all connections. Tried again and still nothing. Never had this before. Could an oil pump fail just like that after not being used?! Or is it just a vapour lock, Anyone had this and if so any ideas please, could do without any expense at the moment, so a cheap fix much appreciated...::dontknow::

        .

I thought there was a 'check valve' in the oil path to the head to stop oil falling back to the sump...under one of the oil pressure sensors.

Stuck maybe...need to get home a get a piccy of it...
