      2871 .82 ar hotside
      3071 .63 ar hotside 3071 .82 hotside
      3076 .63 ar hotside 3076 .82 hotside.

Best option is 3076 .63 which will give you around 475 bhp

3071 .63 best all round driver.
2871 will be less laggy same bhp lower torque.

ehm.....the RS2 EM you are intending to use is somewhat restricted in flow say max. 420 HP to have a long lasting setup. So I guess only the GT2871R would be interesting for you.
Have you considered upgrading the OEM RS2 EM to a Wagner Evo EM?

what is the limiting factors with the 5 pot not being able to hit 500 with a gt3071r with the smaller housing of 0.63???. I know the ex manifold. Is there anyway to get to 500bhp from the above turbo?

Manifold isn't the factor the turbo is, the turbo is rated for 450 bhp

There isn't a way not without pushing the turbo way of the map over 2 bar. That has been done and pistons melted, can't remember who did it think it was faheemo

Holset with a machined K26 housing and a 12mm plate would fit!

The guy i will be getting to map the car usually maps Evo's and has seen over 500 on a few engines. The last one he mapped was 482bhp just last week.
So surely having a extra cylinder it can be achieved without E85.

depending on what stage wheel the hotside has also drastically affects the turbo.

my stage 5 0.63 for instance (sometimes refered to a t350) spools later than a stage 3 which seems to be the norm.

personally if you want to do 450hp id look for a turbo that does 500-550 for some margin and lower boost.

No 2871 has gott 450 bhp couple of plots on here.

It has the same size hotside turbine as the 3071 just a smaller compressor so the air isn't as compressed less bang for buck so to speak.

Different engine, different dynamics. Modern engines are more efficient and can run higher compression ratio.
