    my aby wont start :(

    Hi guys.

My aby wont start when the temperature goes below 0deg, engine crancks just fine, but sounds like no signal cause it doesent even puf or somat.
When temperature is above 0deg, it starts first time and drives just fine.
It is DEFFO temp related as it starts perfectly when its warm, but not when it´s freezing

Have bought a new cam sensor that´s underway, and am just about to buy a new inlettemp sensor, have changed the lambda also and all plugs and wirers are checked and looking fine, any ideas?

Cam sensor would be my first suspect.

The other sensors you mention won't stop the engine from starting as motronic will substitute dummy values for them or they aren't part of the starting process.

When the car won't start because the temperature is low, poor warm water over the cam sensor and then see if it starts - nothing to do with the water as suggested in some other posts, just using warm water to warm the cam sensor itself up a bit. Alternatively, use a warm air gun. If the engine then will start, you've got your problem nailed.

There are posts on here about alternative cam sensors which are only 1/10th of the Audi price so investigate those if you do need a new one.
