Paul, I just ran my compiled binary side-by-side with that included binary in the CWP.zip archive and the user interfaces appear to be identical.

Maybe you could post a screen dump to let me see what you are seeing?
Okay, No need for that. You must be referring to the VR and hall radios buttons as they aren't shown on Crank Wheel Pulser Software web page. The strange thing is they are present on the copy I downloaded (Ver. 1.001) too.
I've just taken a look at you Engine Sim PDF too which confirms this.

I'll see if I can find some free wave editing software to view the CMP and RPM signals as I have no means to test any changes made at present.

Just double clicking on the WAV file it generates will let you hear it pretty well. The CMP signal is like a clicking noise, but the rpm signal is a high pitched tone - if you setup for 135-0 on the flywheel and 800rpm you yet a 1.8kHz audible tone.

There is somethig funny going on with binaries then... The EXE I downloaded definitely doesnt have those VR & Hall radio buttons, but the version you built from source does - bummer and bad bad version control by its producers. Ahh the joys of freeware.

Paul, here is the second file with your requests in Q2, I've also removed those unecessary radio buttons in this build too. Give this a try and let me know if it works correctly.

UPDATE: I see what you mean about the RPM signal, it should be a triangular waveform right? It looks like there is a problem with the RampGen function as it appears to produce a kind of damped oscillatory response.
I'll see if I can find the source of the problem when I get a chance.
