Removal of engine wring loom (incar side)

I am looking at taking the loom from the car i am breaking.

Do i have to remove the dash to get better access?
Is there a place it joins to the car loom?

    Any help would be great.

Remove whole interior for better access. Harness connects a few sensor through connectors, but quite a bulk runs straight from ecu to powerstation and engine compartment. And of course, harness comes to engine comparment from at least 2 different places.

So in short, dismantle everything you can before starting to remove wiring.

In urS4/s6 it goes only thru one hole to motor, at pasenger under servo.
It is esaier if you take out dash, than you just have to take yelow cable from instruments and folow them to ecu, and then go out and pul it to the motor, it is esaier, than into the cabin.

Yeah defo dash out, and heater box, and fan assembly. Lots of the loom is behind all this on the firewall.
