Petrol pump knackered - 044, RS 2 or ABY

As above my pump is whining so on its way.

I have my name down for one of terry B`s at the mo but what is the best option for the avant as in ease of fitting, cost and most appropriate for 350 bhp.

Urgent request as happened over the weekend and need to source and sort for sat!

easy of fitting - ADU/ABY
cost - i guess you could get a 2nd hand ADU/ABY cheaper than an 044.

Have you got and fitted as yet as have a replacementg standard ABY on way for now.

Sounds like we are both doing the same upgrade

RS2 turbo, em, ic, greens, clutch, samco

Car has been sitting for a few months with knackered clutch and now I find that the tabk has got sludge from the plastic tank eroding ( one to watch as will knacker any pump fitted).

So tank has tro come out so a complete rear end off, gutted

Any recommendations to a must replacements whilst were there?

not gonna believe this one .. as been waitiing for a while to do the clutch the petrol in the tank has eroded some of the plastic tank which in turn shagged the pump.

Cleaned and filtered petrol but too much heavy density sludge in the bottom so basically the tank has to come out = whole back end of to get access etc ..

starting to feel jinxed

I'm taking my tank out tomorrow mate, if its anything like the coupe its actually a real easy job, so don't panic just yet

Might be worth having a look at a tank repair kit from Frosts or something to refresh it while its out?

aparantly the reserve tank is over the the other side of the diff hence the lot out.

That tank stuff is for metal tanks by the looks of things, I think mine (avant - aby) has a plastic tank.
