    ABY Motorsport Radiator?

Can anyone point me in the direction of a supplier for the above please?

I have a standard 95MY S2 ABY coupe which is in dire need of a new radiator. However, within the next 12 months this engine will be transplanted into a Ur quattro rally car. My thoughts are to pull out the standard and auxiliary radiators and replace them with a single high capacity unit which will sort the immediate problem and should also be suitable for later use in the rally car.

    Your suggestions will be welcome
    John

Many are running a stock radiator without the aux. radiator and big power without any problems, thus a stock rad will work fine on its own. Perhaps a different story in a very hot climate. Dialynx used to do some ally ones but TBH you'd be as well getting one custom made as they wanted £350 last time I checked.

Better to get the plastic style Behr / Audi ones rather than the crappy Nissens ones. GSF should oblige, as will Quattro Corner and Audi themselves. The other option is to find a 7A rad in good condition as some of these don't have the outles for the aux. rad.

The type 85 Coupe Quattro metal rad is good enough for the job without the aux rad outputs

I paid £210 with some discount at TPS for a new plastic Audi rad. LOADS better than the old one. The only reason I can think of to have a "motorsport" rad is if you need it to be smaller for whatever reason, as although it's not wide it is quite tall.

Somebody was making bigger main rads out of alloy - can't remember who but have a notion that DIalynx used to fit them on modified UR / shorty lookalikees. Could be wrong though.

                    Thanks for the replies guys

This rad will eventually end-up in a (Gp4 spec) stage rally car so if Allisport do one then that's who I'll be calling tomorrow.

Yeah good call if you use a oem one for stage work or track its going to be useless if your cars got more than a remap. would you post your findings from alli sport?

Forge motorsport aren't into water radiators - they are more the 'intercooler' types.
