What I have seen from 034MS and Motorgeek measurements/statements all these US RR results can not be compared to our Euro DIN BHP numbers.
WHP from a properly calibrated Mustang dyno is as real as numbers from a chassis dyno can get. Dynojet numbers, on the other hand, are artificially high, especially on lower powered cars.

Do I missing something here??? You guys asked what each turbo can do, and I did post that up. How big difference is between BHP WHP?? I do understand Dynos are not the same and trust me I have bean on all kids of different ones, Mustang, dynopack, Land&see, WHP usually is very close between each other, if operator knows what he is doing and dose spend time to calibrate dyno correctly.

True, true. My comment was only focussing on this topic on how turbos can be compared, and I doubt his numbers are representative for our comparison here. I have nothing personal against fasterthenRS2 or his monster-turbo engine setup. I have seen pics of his car with twisted drive axles

368 HP at the wheels is for the moment more then enough for me on my daily driver slipper wagon

I looks much more forward to that extra 130Nm of torque once we map for 2.0 bar. If I recall correctly somebody here on the forum mentioned he mapped the GT3071R 0.63AR at 2.0 bar and it hit 645Nm

My H-beam rods say and I hope it will scare me

There's more to be had as you can run 1.9 to 2.0 bar max and then run 1.7 to redline
Yes, the Superflow rolling road measured 368 real HP at the wheels. After rolling they calculated the crank HP, which we already discussed in my project topic, so should be a bit higher like you mentioned Jamo. 450 HP sounds like a happy number to me

This year I will try to push the turbo to max efficiency numbers.

I'm not overly bothered about initial power figures, it's more about getting the parts on and running with as much stock stuff as possible before getting it fully pimped at a later date. Saves going RS2 in the meantime. An off the shelf chip would be nice, even if it'r a bit of an unrealistic hope...

Stock rods & clutch would be ideal to start then get it all pimped at a later date with rods, balance and full remap.

    i wont think that a 3071 with 1.5bar will make 400hp.
i have already posted my graphs with the PB doing 1.9 and 1.65bar to the red line and bearely making 430hp on a 4th gear pull.I doubt that 1.5bar would get you only 30hp less.(of course in the redline it could but i think it will be much less)

when i get the VEMS here i may go through that boost area whilst tuning it so i may be able to tell you what a 3071 will make.

The 034 chip is designed for stock rods and is a very tame tune, a few have used it on this forum and have not been impressed.

Brams map is perfect for a stock setup IMO as the boost spike will only happen with a more aggressive boost target.

Ross said on the road he never got a spike only on the RR.

So if you ran a 3071 at 1.5 bar say and had it safely mapped to avoid surge then that'd play and give c.400 ponies. Does anyone do a chip for the ABY with 3071? IIRC 034 do a bolt on kit? Maybe Paul would sort something with suitable injectors, are RS2 injectors too small?
