Careful that clutch might hold the power but will the dual mass

Why are you asking the same question that I've answered for you before?

              i tend to forget! sorry!

it is most interesting though as i have seen many I5 engines with that setup and high torgues which didnt have any problems.
actually a friend recently had a custom made dual friction plate disc and still using the dual mass flywheel without any problems.

but anyway, its a different thread so.. sorry for the question...

                  it seems so!
i should have posted after the headache! hehe

anyway, mainly reason for this was that i had more input from various sources that dualmass flywheels are quite robust, and 500hp would really make all that much of a problem with the use of a DM.

on the other hand,i cannot remember everything i have posted/talked about or asked months ago, especially when i have reached +6000posts and the work i do for a living does not involve being online most of the time

So do i have to get the DM out of there then. Is it east to convert to SM?

Repo PM me what you have please.

Also looking at keeping the standard feel not paddle like.

Long term Dual Mass flywheels do not like torque, ask an S3 owner.

Granted the RS2 / ABY DM is a lot more robust than the average dual mass but I wouldn't use one on a turbo bigger than RS2 / 3071r

                        can i ask,
are these Steel single mass flywheels that 034 motorsport have for the 01E transmittion an option for the 6speed CRB/CGR gearbox? If so,what type of clutch kit should they go with?

A80, get a 3B or 7A one, I seen to remember that older ones require some modification to fit.

Sounds like this one from Volcano is spot on for you then.
