unfortunately in 034 website does´nt shows nothing about fibal torque...

i´ve asked for it at Peter Kowaksch but he seems very busy... ( this is the man who had sell the ARP´s + metal head gasket 8´8:1 CR. )

i hope that someone here has tryed with ARP bolts and can let a hand... aniway for the moment i will give the stock original torque to the bolts..

Head studs go to 20/40/65 ft/lbs in 3 steps with the moly lube. Retorque after one heat cycling of the engine

              20/40/65 ft/lbs ... trasnlated to the newtons meter are : 27/54/88nm

el problem it is now.... BECAUSE,Peter Kowaksch from PK motosport, said me yesterday answering my email that it must have 3 steps :

75nm / 95nm / 105 nm final ,obviously it is much more final torque than the 65lbs/88nm like yours...

what do you think about friends???

What I think is we've told you the correct torque levels which come direct from Javad at 034

If you want to go with the 2nd opinion then go for it.

i have to say too that Peter Kowaksch knows exactly the type of head gasket i have because he selled me all the parts...

this metal head gasket it´s some thicker¡¡ i had measured it and it is 2´5mm thick of course without use it with the bolts¡¡

Peter want 8´8:1 compression ration for me and this numbers are enough he said.

maybe my custom head gasket needs more torque leve than others..

for the moment i will go to the Peters way... he has tuned a lot of 10/20 v turbo audi engines.... he only tune audi 10/20v turbo never other engines

If it's with his head gasket then use his torque levels

Mine was stock head gasket and comes from ARP using the moly slip supplied with the bolts. There are different torque levels for different lubricants due to the changing friction when tightening.

There is some info on this in the ARP catalogue but it's not that clear TBH. Linky (page 24).

Replace the washers, if the ones in ARP box are smaller than in original bolts.

And yes, Your higher torque levels are ok for oil, those lower settings Jamo gave are for moly grase.

10,5kg is ok with oil, but if washers are small, they will penetrate the head.

Also, repeat Jamo's statement: remember to retighten them after warmup and cooldown. This is crucial.
