Bosch Turbo Diverter Valve 4 Audi Porsche VW ADJUSTABLE

Bosch Turbo Diverter Valve 4 Audi Porsche VW ADJUSTABLE

What do you think about it ?

    FITS: VW 1.8T Jetta, Golf, Passat -- AUDI 1.8T & 2.7 Including A4, A6, TT, S4, RS6 -- PORSCHE 944, 911, 996 -- SAAB Turbocharged Engines. Direct replacement to Bosch bypass valves

This amazing unit is adjustable from 8-16 psi with the turn of a knob. No more messing with the valve and changing spring with different boost settings. This unit can act as a bypass/diverter recirculating valve or as a Blow Off valve with the side pipe disconnected, dumping boost to the atmosphere with a nice Pssshhhh sound :-). See video, It is the most versatile adjustable unit on the market and is a great deal at this price.

It will restore lost power and will hold more boost pressure than the stock units for added performance. This Aluminum spring loaded Piston-Cylinder valve is a proven design that wil last not like the original plastic Bosch diaphragm valve that warps in less than a year causing a lot of power loss. Replacement is a 5 minute job

    Features Include:

    CNC Precision Machined Billet Aluminum
Internal Components Lubricated with High Temperature Synthetic Grease for a Lifetime of Trouble Free Use
    Direct Replacement for OEM Valve
Will Not Leak Boost and Eliminates the "Honking" Sound
"Recovers" Quicker for Better Boost Response

16psi is low, basically stock ABY on overboost. Once you're into remap territory it's 20+ psi. What advantage does it give over a Forge or equivalent device? How much does it cost?

As for 'replacement is a 5 minute job' - LOL - clearly not estimated by anyone who has ever had to change a TBV on the S2... Sure its five minutes after you have removed the headlight, the trim behind that, only to find that the orientation of the hose clips means you need to get underneath the car - so another 'five minutes' to get the undertray off.

                    They're on ebay here
I came across them this week but opted for a Forge valve instead which is on its way to me - i figured tried and tested was worth a few $ more

                    Edit: too slow typing

The pressure they quote is I'm sure for the vacuum. Like my HKS you can adjust it to stop it leaking air on tick over...
                      Looks ok!
