Audi S2 Coupe ABY original KKK24/7000 turbo exhaust manifold upgrade

Hello, I have a question, how can I upgrade the exhaust manifold on a S2 Coupe ABY with the original KKK24/7000 turbo? For the RS2 there is the Wagner RS2 Evo manifold and for the S2? Thanks a lot! Bye

          Hidden skills there Aelred...

AFAIK - the Wagner EM works for both S2 and RS2 applications - the K24 7000 and 7200 turbos bolt on just the same.

There's not been much written on the use of a higher flowing, better designed EM on the little k24, I'd always thought that as the k24 7000 turbine was a pretty big restriction that any gains would be minimal but that's not based on anything other than finger in the air. Same goes for a wilder exhaust cam.

But with better flowing components would transient response not be better even if the gains on a dyno are small.

Not that I am disagreeing but just a thought of why there are gains anyway.

A larger volume EM woud increase lag but a freer flowing one would improve performance to a point, it all depends on how restrictive the exhaust side of the k24 is I guess.

Gotta say I don't think it would be a worthy upgrade on the wee K24. Better suited to RS2 and upwards IMHO.

My thoughts exactly. I'm looking forward to trying the 7A Inlet with stock ABY stuff tho, could work well, that cam setup works well on the 7A and a longer duration inlet, shorter exhaust works well on NA cars as I've seen many times.

Light flywheel and wheels would be a better use of money for increasing performance IMO, in the lower gears at least.

its always better to change the Stock S2 Manifold to an RS2 or RS2 Evo Manifold, gain will be 300-350 RPM less lag. Compare to the RS2 Manifold, the EVO will show his Gains after the 2/3 -3/3 of the RPM Band.
There are a lot of Customers who use our RS2 Evo on a Bone Stock S2...
