    RS2 turbo with standard chips!

I am planning on getting my RS2 turbo and manifold etc fitted soon. Currently my S2 is remapped by MRC so what wil it run like with the RS2 turbo on it? Im not expecting any gains i just dont want it to be spluttering down the road until i have the Remap done. TIA

It'll be fine on the interim, especially if your already running a 280bhp atm, will be lots more laggy than current turbo tho but you'll definately get more POOOW when it does spool up. Try and get it all done together tho, as thats the mistake i made i never got round to sorting the IC & injectors.

Was still running sweet but with the others bitz and it would have be running MEGA sweet!

You should be ok as long as you don't fit any larger injectors. You should have the same max boost levels as the K24 but obviously you'll get much more lag as the maps won't be designed for your RS2 turbo.

I have the rs2 manifold going on at the same time and i have fitted the intercooler already so all i will need to do is get the injectors fit them and map it. Ill have to save for a bit longer to get the map and injectors once i have paid for the other bits to be done
