OK, looks like GT35r is border line between street & track. So, I should re-think before I move on to GT4094r! Will it have such a big difference even with the 0.84A/R ?

I know that Greece is becoming a paradise of illegal drag racing and all, but it just boils down to what you need the car for.

Anyway, I was planning to change the rods this month to upgrade the clutch to lower the CR to 8.5 and to go with 1.06A/R & VEMS ECU. And suddenly, that's when the GT4094r fell into my lap & confused me.

By the way, I will remove the A/C to bring the weight down. Right now it is 1430kg.

        So those are my plans........

A larger turbo would only slow you down at a track. Only at a dragstrip the extra power could help if you launch it right. Launch it at 90% and the extra lag will slow you down.

        Just my $0.02

          my tuppence,

leave the car as it is, i.e. don't change the turbo, it'll cost you money subsseqent to the turbo change even if the turbo itself is cheap.

Do change the rods though if they are standard?

Perhaps focus of getting the car to handle, ride and brake better if these areas of performance could be improved?

A cheap item, i.e. a bargain is not really a bargain if you do not actually need it ?

How are your lights, seats, gauges - boost, EGT, AFR ?

All of the above suggestions based on the fact that you drive it on the street at least twice a week and do not drag race it?

Devote more money to petrol and drive it more often to enjoy what you already have, which sounds pretty good as it is ?

My own tuppence from my perspective, your perspective will naturally be different.

          HTH a bit.

          Kind regards.

Thanks for all the advice you guys gave me! Your advice made me think about not to go crazy and enjoy every step I am going through with the car.

Like what my friend Vasilis said, it just boils down to what you need the car for and to tell you the truth I did not build this car (500hp) to go for shopping or for a nice weekend ride. From the beginning I stuck to MY plan......MAXIMUM ATTACK!!! Yes, Greece is becoming a paradise of illegal drag racing and with these beautiful bullet prove AUDI machines you can be high up on the competition with a low budget. Don't get me wrong, I do have it for daily use too but in the last 3 months I've abused it to the MAXIMUM putting more than 10k km with GT35r and I do a lot of a drag racing (no cracks yet to the wagner tubular em ).

The GT4094r will be waiting on the side for it's future use........since they are building a drag racing track in my town!!

If I'm not mistaken, it was Markku Alen with Lancia 037.
