Over the last few weeks my oil pressure warning has beeped at me occasionally, i put it down to a faulty pressure sender, the guage always read 4bar, but this week its become a lot more frequent and im a bit more concerned.
I do mostly motorway miles and it always comes on when trying to go over 80mph, the guage was reading 3.5bar yesterday and today was only on 3bar
but the guage surface has started to bubble slightly like the speedo syndrome. and is causing it to give a false reading.
Basically how much of a pressure drop is needed for the warning to activate?
