MB/RR and 3B all same turbo, not sure if any differences made for the ABY K24 running higher boost with the overboost facility (uprated seals/bearings).

        That's not correct.

        The MB is a K26.

        20v turbos use a K24

Think you'll find only the WR used the K26, when the capacity was increased to 2226cc they also dropped to the K24 keeping the same BHP but improving the low speed torque noticeably.

My poorly refurbed turbo now back with ITS Turbos, waiting to hear the excuses why it blew within 100 miles?!!

Don't know why you think that.

I've just removed the turbo from my MB and it's a K26.

              Only the 10V MC 100 turbo had a K24!
For some reason there does seem to be an issue using the K26 on the 20V apart from the relative unsuitability compared with the K24. The c/housings are the same so it is a bit of a mystery!

MB turbo is KKK26 water cooled, WR is KKK26 oil cooled, S2's KKK24 watercooled. See other people comments also.

Looks like I got this wrong then. lucky I didn't use the mb turbo i was offerred then. Oops
Still waiting for a response from ITS Turbos.
Are the 3B and ABY turbos identical then? Or is ABY an uprated K24? Was told they are identical, is this corrector or is this info wrong too?

3b, RR, ABY turbos are the same.

The only difference would be the orientation with the RR version. The cold side can be loosened and rotated if being fitted in an S2.
