bov location with gt35

am i right in thinking the bov needs to be positioned as close to the throttle pot as possible?
i know this is the case with other turbo'd cars ,but the standard audi set up has it positioned near to the compressor on the turbo..
my current set up with the gt35 and twin intercoolers can accomadate both,so which would be best idea to use?

On a turbo that big there is good evidence to say use both locations... Often on the big turbo installs its normal to find a single BOV/TBV/DV isn't enough to vent that pressure oot...
