    Removing distributor drive from cam?

Has anybody tried to remove the metal drive gear from the 3B inlet cam? I have a damaged 3B cam and a good ABY one, so I need to remove the drive gear and from the 3B and refit it to the ABY cam. I've tried heat and a gear puller but it's not budging, is it pressed on or am I missing something?

It’s definitely not part of the cam, but then it’s definitely not coming off either, not with the equipment I have anyway
Does anybody have a 3B inlet cam they want to sell?

It does come off but most of the time not by choice, there's been a few people on here that have had the gear just fall off whilst driving bending some valves in the process.
