How to replace a check valve

    Guys,

Hoping someone has a been there and done that for replacing a vacuum line check valve.

The scenario, one outlet snapped off a three way check valve at the bulkhead. The check valve is replaceable but its completely sealed into the hard walled plastic pipe shown below. You could cut the old one off then maybe have enough rigid pipe left to fit the new one into, but is this a push fit and thats it? or like heat shrink, anyone been here before? Its not my car and I've never had to change one before, maybe its simple, but if anyone has already done this.....

I changed one on a golf - and I had to dip the hose and valve in boiliing water to be able to get it off and on - it isn't a nice job.

Get a hot air gun and warm it gently, this should release it. Similar to what Doug suggested.
