You need Bosch F5DP0R Plugs, the Audi part number is 101 000 016AA and you should change these every 20 000 miles or about 30 000 klms

Bosch only has the correct plug for the S2. There was a thread ages back nn a different forum about this as NGK don't have a matching plug for this Bosch one.

There might be one type of NGK racing plug which is perhaps suitable for heavily modified engines with more than ~400bhp but the standard Bosch one will play there too.

Whats wrong with the NGK plugs? I use them with no probs. PFR7B was the number.

Also i dont leave mine in for more than 20k. Some cars such as twin spark alfa's and v6 mondeo's are on 60k changes!!!!

Slightly off base here but when I got my urq it had diff plugs to the recommended, car ran ok so no bother

Didn't want to fork out the money for the proper ones anyway cost a packet!!

                    BUT

When I eventually did the car was transformed, so from then on I always put in the plugs that good old audi tell us to (no matter how much they cost )

Here's an interesting piece of news - Audi Uk have dropped the price of S2 plugs! they used to be £15+, they are now £9.44+vat each.

                      Thanks you Mr Audi

That is a little high yes when compare to UK prices! a full set of 5 of the plugs would be about 71 Euros. Airmail shipping is only 12 Euros, so you could order a set from us for about 83 Euros delivered to your door and still save 52 Euros!

Valjo, despite what ever your local dealer says, those original platinum plugs are good for a 60 000km no need to change them at 30kkm.
