Its actually a very good valet mode stunt with the WGFV disconnected. Looks like Leighs WG is ok from a sanity check against this.
Well I don't know if that is good or bad news as it possibly rules out another potential for my problem

0.4 Bar is the standard mechanical boost on all 20vt's mate, I had told ya before already

No idea for Leigh's issue though...

Did notice the needle on the boost guage fluttering a bit the other day. Someone has suggested that this and my other symptoms could point to a faulty WG. It gets up to pressure the WG opens to release some then doesn't close properly and lets too much out.

If I let off the throttle and then boot it again it will get back up to pressure and then drop again etc. etc.

Just out of interest how much is a WG diaphragm?

          Cheers

            I'll second that.

I had some overboosting problems today (which I need to solve before I install the homefry), so I disconnected the WGFV electrical connector and got max. 0,5 bar boost (perhaps a tad less) on my gauge.

Totally transformed even a stock ABY to something much less fun...

im in the same boat at the min, waiting for a new WGFV to arrive which will hopefully fix my problem. Mark H had a similar problem with his last year and it turned out to be just that.

Can also produce boost spikes! I had boost rise to 2.3 bar before i noticed the gauge and backed off, hasnt done it since! (Went like hell)
