If you've done the cutting and fitting of the IM, I can weld it.... I've got a nice big ESAB squarewave TIG set in the garage. If we knew what grade of alloy the IM is, it would be helpful too, means I could get the exact welding rod....

Hehe, no. Ordered one but it took some time so I ordered another one. Then I was told that the first one was on its way so...I got two.

Erm... not quite. It's an invalueable bit of kit though... When I was persuaded to sell my motorbike in the interests of domestic harmony, I was determined to equip the garage with all the bits I'd always wanted. The TIG set was one of them.

Re-furbished auction set .... a steal at £500. Well in Tig terms anyway !

Asked the service about making a reverse version.

It will cost from 360$ to 455$ for each(you provide with a manifold) with work and install. As from discussion I learned that it's cuted . welded back together. Showed me the car where it's installed. I was told something about generator relocation and the car miss's aircon.

The price is still a matter of discuss.

Btw it's a 3B.

I don't see why generator relocation should be needed, but some have removed the aircon and moved the power steering pump to the aircon's original place. Some has even tilted the main radiator to get more room.

But it's all about how you build it. I still have my aircon, power steering pump and generator at its original places. Even stuffed the airfilter and MAF down next to the aircon.
