You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
can anyone 'enlighten' me as to which hoses need blocking off to test my leaking hoses?...and what size compressor will be adequate, as my mate has a portable one but only a small tank....
I have searched the forum for this info but cannot find it...it's probably my search request is a bit off the mark as to description...
I just stick the bung in the MAF hole and test the whole system, this will test teh breather and also the small vacuum lines, both of which are important to have completely sealed. If your breather is like a sieve then block that off and if you want to test the IC hoses, esp. a Mark H mod or O ring then block off at the XM pipe to engine pipe hose. HTH
