You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
i have a noise coming from under the bonnet, its like a sqeaky tappy soung but its not constant, i think it mite be the alternator as the battery light doesn't go out til i give her some gas. can anyone help? also i can get a second hand alternator from a 2.3 coupe that a friend is breaking. will it be the correct 1? thanks in advance!
Check the belt tension for the alternator and PAS (and AC if applicable). Spray a dab of WD40 on the belts, it can really quieten them down, not too much tho
