  • Its all back together

Well everything is now back on the car, including the new Samco's, and it started up first time Now for the problem Some times when it falls back to idle it feels lumpy,as if its only on four cylinders or something...any ideas what could cause this or anything i should be looking at specifically? I shall post some pictures tomorrow.....

If you have had your coil packs out while you did your powder coating it could be you have a bad connection to the connectors on the baulkhead or a loose connection/bad earth on the coil pack cover.

I will take the coil pack off again and re-check all the fixings/connections.

gotta admit Dean, that does look very good. I'm with Greg on the problem, reckon on the problem being either one of the earth straps inside the RC or a plug 'lead' cap rather, and check your plugs torque settings whilst your there, I think its 30NM ? BUT CHECK! good work mate! if you need a plug 'lead' i have a coupel of new ones round here you are welcome to try out. could load that stuff you want too...

                  Lookin good dean

I'm begining to think I should have had mine powder coated. I love the look of the matt aluminium paint I used but it marks so easily. You only have to look at it

Engine looks imaculate now. 1 thing i noticed is the connector bracket near to the oil filler cap. Should it be there or mounted in a different position their? mine is mounted slightly differently and not sure if i put it on right now.

Sweet... but I'm sure you have the bracket for the CMP connector in the wrong place. 9 out of 10 effort, but could do better ;-)
