My boost issues are solved thanks to Paul. I have just fitted some Roose boost hoses but i still have an annoying problem. When i give it WOT and it hits max boost i get a shreeking/squeeling sort of noise. I have had this since i had the RS2 items fitted. Anyone had anything similar or suggestions as to what it could be? Boosts fine now, up to 21psi then tails off to 16psi. Any ideas?
Squeeling/Shreeking at full boost!

Not sure what type of noise it is really. Possibly be an air noise although i have changed my DV with my brothers one but still does it3'' Longlife Exhaust, Koni Adjustables, H&R Springs, Full RS2 Setup with Mr Nugents RS2 Chips

Cant get a video have no way of doing it. It seems to be coming from the turbo area. Not sure what it could be really annoying me now. It has a new WGFV, my old DV had split so i put my brothers one on which i think is a forge one but still the same noise. I have roose boost hoses on there now and all the hoses are done up tight.3'' Longlife Exhaust, Koni Adjustables, H&R Springs, Full RS2 Setup with Mr Nugents RS2 Chips

Hope not. Aelred has heard it and said it cant be the turbo, if it was then the turbo would have gone by now. He seemed to think it is something to do with the intake system but wanted to see if anyone else had experienced it3'' Longlife Exhaust, Koni Adjustables, H&R Springs, Full RS2 Setup with Mr Nugents RS2 Chips

Is the wastegate airtight ?
Whatabout bypass valve - is it airtight and fitted right way round OK ?
I would check ALL the narrow hoses too.Paul Nugent

Aelred checked the wastegate and said it was fine. The bypass valve is air tight and the right way round. I have another RS6 one to fit courtesy of Bo so ill try that and see if that makes a difference. The narrow hoses do u mean the vac lines?3'' Longlife Exhaust, Koni Adjustables, H&R Springs, Full RS2 Setup with Mr Nugents RS2 Chips

Ill try and get a pressure test done at some point. The car goes fine but im sure there is something little that needs changing before it runs to its full potential3'' Longlife Exhaust, Koni Adjustables, H&R Springs, Full RS2 Setup with Mr Nugents RS2 Chips

Just changed my spark plugs as per the other thread. 2 were loose so i fitted the new ones and torqued them up by hand following pauls guide. Fitted the injectors back in to see if it stopped the sqeeling. The car has transformed but the squeeling has now got worse i suppose because i am getting full boost again. i read some where on here earlier that running the wrong/faulty fuel pump will make it run rich and possibly make the turbo work harder is that correct? Any ideas what this squeeling is? Having said that full boost has transformed this car!3'' Longlife Exhaust, Koni Adjustables, H&R Springs, Full RS2 Setup with Mr Nugents RS2 Chips

I had a turbo that made a strange noise for several months on my last aby, previous owner said it had done it since it had been reconned, then one day took it out for a massive thrash parked it up over night then came out to it the next day and went to drive off in it and was making the most unbelievable sound.Took the turbo off and there was a small section of the impeller missing plus several of the vanes had scraped the side of the housing.Put another turbo on it and never heard any untoward sounds again.Comment
