    Fitting RS2 Intercooler

What is the easiest way to adapt the S2 crossmember to accept an RS2 intercooler? Does anyone have a how to, or a part to bolt on? I'm not the most technical guy in the world, so if anyone wants to come to Scotland and fit it for me, I'd be up for that. I'll even make them a cup of tea!

There's another post in here from Marco, with great pictures showing how he did his, find his post and have a look at what he had made.

OR... if any one wants to buy me an RS2 intercooler. I'll then get some brackets made 'in bulk' so the RS2 IC will bolt straight up!!

I have an RS2 Intercooler and RS2 Crossmember is it just a case of taking the front bumper off unbolting the S2 Crossmember and bolting the rs2 crossmember on and connect up the rs2 intercooler?

No you will need to cut the oil duct for clearance of the RS2 IC

It's literally just a wedge shaped piece of plastic you just need to trim/remove (there's a few pics on here somwhere of what needs done etc ), just get a nice sharp blade and you'll be done ..

Dont you have to adapt some pipes as well ? The rs2 and the s2 intercooler are not exactly the same where they go in are they ??

Rs2 intercooler will fit on ABY without adapting the pipes, did it on my S2. With 3B, i don't know?

Yeah its an easy job. The notch in the duct is easy to cut with a junior hacksaw and its pretty much a straight fit. Its worth doing the mark h mod on the IC to X member while its all off too.
