    Fuel pressure reg??

If the regulator is failing / failed will it allow fuel to drain back to the tank when not running?
Reason for asking is that my brothers car struggles to start when it's been left for a while, it spins over for a good 5-10 seconds before catching. I think something is causing it to loose fuel pressure when left.

I would think it's more likely the injectors are leaking. Or the fuel pipe is letting air in. Is there anyway that fuel could make it through the diaphragm to the vacuum side? That would not be nice!

It will let fuel into the manifold via the vacuum connection if it fails as well
