WHAT TURBO IS BEST TO REPLACE RS2's?

Hi guys,just a quick question.What turbo is best to replace the rs2 stock one,if your after more power like something around 450HP.

GT3071r. You'll need to replace more than the turbo though to reach 450.

Garrett 3071r is a proven replacement, members such as Newsh have gone from RS2 to 3071r and been very happy with the results.

There are also the CT turbo's which have been touted as good replacements although no results available yet.

If you have the money then the turbo dynamics hybrid used by DJones is very good.

start aiming for that power and you are looking for more than a turbo. start thinking injectors, fuel pump, manifold, and rods!

...and get Audiman to rebuild the engine. Had the GT3071R setup on my Coupe (RIP), had it rebuilt by audiman and then fitted the turbo + remap at a later date. 428bhp on the dyno and that was before it was properly tweaked...

As Audiman says - Injectors, fuel pump, connecting rods, exhaust manifold (standard RS2 one will do 400ish), intercooler and a re-map. You'll probably end up having to factor in a new exhaust and down pipe too.
