Yes. Way down in Somerset, but worth the travel by far

Do some thorough research on here, read project threads etc to get some background on issues you'll come across, and parts needed... in a nutshell, there's plenty you can do in order to get the most out of the setup but with a remap that limits torque in the midrange a stock RS2 will see a little over 400hp with this turbo. Changing fuel pump and injectors you can goto 450hp, over that and you need a bigger intercooler and exhaust manifold as these will be pushed to their limits at 450...

Yeah,i don't really want to change everything on the engine.I might just stick to the low 400hp then

                  If you want a guaranteed 450 bhp you'd need a 3071r with a .82 hotside or a 3076r with a .63 hotside

How about other choices of turbos, anyone tried any other turbos for these kinds of powerlevels?

sc6152e is mine. its a precision. i like it. good for more than 450hp though. maybe 550hp or so.

it wont spool likle a 3071 though. more like a 35r.

the new precision units look great. vband flange to manifold, bb and billet wheels. a smaller unit will produce more power with a lot less lag. apparentyl the vband to the manifold is the key here rather than a t3 flange.

thats tje way im going next. my turbo man in the states has specced me one. it will out perform the sc61, which is a great turbo for a non bb by around 750rpm on spool giving better performance at any point in the RPM range. a fair bit more than the sc61. only paid 399 uk brand new for the sc61. good exchang erate then though. reckon the new one will be about a grand.
