    Fault code 65535 / blink 1111

Can anyone one please give me a bit more info on this code

Faulty control unit j220 would that be the ECU ?

-Earth connection to J220 contacts 10,14,19,24 that would be the 55 pin connector

ECU has a earth strap with a good connection

    Thanks Wayne

I will do, but i did pay attention to these when connected wiring

      Also showing 00519 2222

And 00514 2212 g69 tried the tests on it looks ok the zt-2 show voltage going up & down.

The zt-2 read,s 100% closed & 5% fully open is that right thought it would be the other way round

      Thanks

00519 is : internal ECU pressure sensor fault

          00519 - VAG1551/2 Fault Code Number
          ECU Internal Pressure sensor (G71)
          Pressure sensor defective,
Repair or replace ECU or replace internal pressure sensor

          00519 Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor

          - Signal too low

          - Signal too high

          - Control difference

00518 has to do with TPS. is that wired properly?

g71 would be the map sensor strange it worked fine before i will double check all vac lines

I have 5v at the TPS resistant looks ok

But i did just measure 3.8 with throttle fully open on pins 2 & 3 that could be the problem there i will double check this.

            Thanks for your input

I Have finlly got rid of most of my fault codes

Today when i pulled the codes I got 65535 / 1111 & 4444 which is no faults to show that was first then followed by 1111

I have tested the pins on ecu 10 14 19 24 seems to earth well, because of my Furans i had to change the location of earths one is on the cam cover & the other is on the last inlet manifold bolt firmly done up.

Any ideas please on this, because i am keen to remap but need to get to the bottom of these fault codes first.

                    Thanks Wayne

Has the ECU been remapped already ?

If so - there is a good chance that a bad checksum is throwing up this fault code...
