    HomeFries Performance?

Has anyone tested performance figures for a standard car vs a Home Fried/Remapped car?

Im interest more so in RS2 figures since thats what I own.

So a standard RS2 is 315BHP, what should be expected for a remapped car? And waht about torque improvements?

Also had anyone ever measured what the real world performance improvements are?

    Say 0-60MPH, 0-100MPH, 30MPH-50MPH etc etc

Im interested because I was to get rid of the Superchip that came with in my RS2, and I also interested if the RS2 can out perform my brothers E39 M5

Also, on the boring side of things, has anyone had improved fuel economy after remapping?

There are a few people rolling around with a multimap RS2 setup now who can comment on this directly... You know who you are !!!

That setup is STOCK in one bank and my RS2 'N-Stream' in another - hotswitchable so easy to get butt dyno and GTech comparative data. When on the rollers the numbers come out into 350-360bhp territory and 470Nm... I'm going to do a higher boosting 'V-Stream' for RS2 later in the year as there is more torque available in the mid range.

I now have a spare RS2 ECU in the stable so could do something for you if interested... Complicated by 8000 odd miles between but sure we can conjure up some scheme. Send me a PM if interested - after you've seen some real world comparisons.

Real world for my S2 ABY + HF, 0-60 5.3s, 0-100 13s, 1/4 mile = 13.5s. 30-60 in second 3s. RS2 will be faster than that. Look up my real world performance thread as there are RS2 vs. S2 times in there for approx. teh same power outputs as HF'd RS2s.
