Hi, im new to the audi s2 scene and need some advice. I am looking into buying an audi s2 quattro. The person selling this vehicle says that the engine is a 7A engine. What does this mean??? How much BHP would it have and would it have a turbo??
dam good car , i brought one a couple of months ago , i love mine problem is i have now spent more on stuff for it than the car cost. but i love it,and i will be spending a lot more.
mine was 550 but it needed 4 tyres , tracking setting , abs sensor , cat and lamba sensor , drivers door mirror. but i work in a tyre and exhaust depot so i get things cheeper if i didnt i guess it would have cost me a hell of lot more, but i would have still bought the pearl beast
I love my 7A, with a well sorted suspension there a lot of fun on a twisty road. Plus you will never run out of handling or grip, the chassis can handle way more than the 7A can throw at it. Full throttle to the red line all the way.
I can understand why people would hate them, they dont have the get up and go excitement of an S2. And for daily driving the lack of low down torque can be a pain, though i personally find them easier to drive, you can cruise around shifting at 2200rpms and still leave the traffic behind. If outright performance and traffic light grand prix's are your thing you want an S2.
