I've just fitted my boost gauge and I'm getting 0.5 bar at 6 thousand revs?

STock 3B peaks at 0.8bar in the mid range... You've likely got some air leaks, a tired/slow WGFV or maybe just worn out turbo.
Best way to test boost is in 4th gear cruising at 1500-2000rpm then just floor it and see how the boost builds to peak in mid range then it reduces towards redline.
A well chipped 3B runs to 1.4 or 1.5bar in the mid range and tails off to 0.8-1bar at redline depending on setup.Paul Nugent
