Arp torquing

Hi

I was having a conversation With Aelred in regards to torquing ARP head studs

We have torqued mine to 65 ft lbs as stated on the box.

He has received some a new shipment that says 80ft lbs, what have other people torqued there to.

80ft lbs is to much in my opinion.

I do mine to 60 and heat cycle and re torque. Mark at Automark only does them to 55ft lbs. I personally would never go to 80ft lbs.
