Ceramic coating?
I just remembered the name of the place that a fellow at JP Exhaust recommended to me.
Website: http://www.camcoat.u-net.com/Exhausts.htm
And he says their prices are reasonable. Other searches on ceramic coatings came up with something called 'Lizard skin' available from the states. Worth looking into if you have an engine in bits. For me, I was just thinking on the inlet pipe to the throttle body, and possibly the inlet manifold too, plus the heat shielding I'm going to be putting in next to the turbo for the filter/box I end up with. Is this the same as what Dr Bling (I mean Dr H - Leigh) and others have done to their inlet manifold?
Dropping inlet air temperatures (thanks Audi for the great design) and cheaper than buying a wrong way round inlet manifold...
Worth a thought?
