    earatic boost

this is on the ur with 20 valve and gt35r on standard mapping....
i fixed a major boost leak on the relocated maf and ever since the boost creeps at high rpm..initially boost is at 1bar(approx 15 psi)then as the revs increase to redlne the turbo screems and the boost rises to approx 1.5bar(21 psi)....it has only started dong it since i fixed the leak.....any ideas???????

Why does it have a gt35 with standard mapping ? what is that supposed to do, apart from give you loads of lag ?

it´s a bit daring to be running arround with full boost as this is a huge turbo m8?
Would recomend to hols back till he comes and map the car?
But i do know that theese turbos are WERY happy with high rpm´s and can be a real bitch to control, so maybe you need a better boost control?

the car will be mapped asap but in the mean time i need to get this sorted as something is not quite right...could it be a faulty n75 or does my problem lie with the wastegate??i must be in the right area as there are only a few components that control boost(especially overboost)..

Quite simple wrong map for the turbo. Not enough ecu duty on the WGFV to control the insane air output of the GT35r.

Once mapped correctly the wastegate should be opened earlier to control boost

I would leave it like jamo said and wait for MRC to take a look at it. They can pressure test it first to make sure its leak free and then they will map it.
If the N75 has not been replaced then get a new one just encase.
Might also be safer to leave it unplugged for now so you just get mechanical boost for the time being.
