How about oil temp, I've heard/read somewhere that over 130 deg C oil temp is bad for oil. Something about the chemical structure being broken down etc. In my Audi 90 I have oil temp rising to 130 when going around the track. It never goes higher, but I have been wondering if I should change oil more frequently, as it sees such high temperatures for prolonged periods?

130degc sump temp is high and the average oil will buckle. You need something upto the job such as a 10w-50 or 15w-50 ester based synthetic oil.
