still have the same fooking problem ! 
today i changed the d/valve and wgfv and checked all pipes round the inlet area ! !
just to remind you car drives fine, put my foot down it boost's right round to over 20 psi with a lot of stuttering/misfire then resorts to 5 psi of boost. like a safe mode ?!? help me
leave it a bit put my foot down again and guess what ..........gives full boost
until the 5 psi bit rears its head.
also after a test run round the block after switching off it wouldnt restart, i left it for 10 mins (touched nothing) tried again and vvvroomm away she go's !
unable to check the waste gate diaphragm yet. any other ideas befoe i get it into the garage. i am not too clever with spanners !
just a guess could it be a blocked fuel filter ?
