3B Distributer wanted

Hi,does anyone have a 3b distibuter for sale,got problems and think its the distributer,based in littleborough ol15 9ph,willing to travel to pick up,

Are you sure about this difference? Maybe one of the engines has some kind of aftermarket cam?

hmm i think that no...

aniway i will search these cams to check the part number.... But in theory they will be 3B cams


whem i was replace my distributor i´ve changed the theets of the distributor with a home made tool because it was not easy to did it

I'm thinking teeth maybe? Possibly Rocco is alluding to different types of distributor gear?

I know there are metal and plastic versions, but I thought this was the only identifiable difference between the gears.

Audi do an exchange unit and it comes with the metel gear, about £150.

and yes i was talking about the teeths that connect with the cams theets,do you understund me true?? they was complete different teeths in my both 3b engines..

i am not complete sure about if i ´ve saved the wrong distributor/teehts... but i hope to find it

yes i think you must have got a dizzy from a different engine as all 3B/RR/7A use the same teeth pattern.
