there isnt a gasket as it uses a separate seat for the valve to seal against. I have seen the seat part missing before and leaking thru there.

Arrow points to where the seat should be. It does come out of the WG, but cannot be bought as a spare part

Take care you do not drop that seal ring, as it's made of some sort of ceramic and I once dropped it and a part of it broke off

Luckily PKM in Germany had a few spares, so I fixed my WG with one of those.
