    Engine Weight

I know weight is an issue with the S2 and being a type85 Coupe man i have the benefit of a considerable weight difference. However, with anything, better means lighter, more powerful etc. I've done a full type85 component weight list which needs a few additions to it.

I've just weighed my AAN complete engine, bar a few ancillaries but with both mounts and inlet. Here are my findings, if anyone has done similar for other engines/turbos/manifolds etc please feel free to post. I'll weigh my RR sachs clutch unit tomorrow

AAN complete engine (exc. alternator, starter motor, PAS pump, clutch, flywheel) - 159kg
    KKK24 turbo + stock manifold - 16.2kg
    RR 20v flywheel - 8.3kg
