Problem with cooling symbol in autocheck

I have a little problem I hope somone could help me with:

The symbol for high engine temp/low cooling water level is showing in my autocheck along with 3 beeps when I start my engine.
The engine temp is fine, fan starts at 90 deg.
    Cooling water level is fine.
Anybody got any idea what can be causing this?

Can mention that the head was dismantled a short whil ago.
And when I put it together I noticed that the pins on the mfts was bent, same with the pins on the other sensor on the water rail so.
Could one of these sensors be causing the problem?

If it is one of these sensors or the water level sensor would it appear in a wagcom diagnostic check?

Unfort - none of those sensors will show up on VAGCOM.

My guess its the water level switch in the expansion tank - mine was doing this intermittently - disconnect the switch - its a two pin plug at bottom of bottle... If alarm goes away then thats the root cause.
