Have always used MRC for mapping on my audis but have a UR that I have fitted with a stoker and need it remapped asap.
MRC can't do it until September and was wondering if anyone had any other mappers that they could recommend to me.
I am based in the South East.

Id say wait till September and get it done by them but maybe Paul (s2central) can do it if you take it to Ireland? There is others but i dont rate them purely by what i have heard from others...

I appreciate what you are saying as I have probably used MRC for 7 or 8 maps over the years with various cars and they have always been excellent. It is just enormously frustrating that I should wait well over a month to get a remap, from any company. Have been nagging MRC for an idea as to when I could get it done for several weeks too....

Vems is stand alone ecu that you can map yourself...
Stick with the motronic. Can you not drive out to France to visit Mihnea there for a map?
Car is not really drivable. ECU is mapped for the 10v (with motronic) that I had in there previously, can't believe it even started! Runs way too rich though and you never know what damage you are doing on a long drive.

Automark.... comes very highly rated, and is a helpful guy on the phone.
Honda CBR 1100XX Blackbird Turbo....undergoing major changes.....
S2 Coupe... bit easier off the line...

Actually yes, have heard of him. Is he in Yorkshire? I have heard that he dispenses with the WGFV though and maps the car on the spring only?

Sweeping statement, after quite a bit of research there are pro's and cons to both.
The obvious con with motronics is the lead time but then you could spend the same amount of time i.e months perfecting a stand a lone map.
But, you are only relying on yourself for the VEMS, you don't need to rely on other peoples timescales and reliability for it, Motronic you will always be in the hands of others, and what if you upgrade again in the future....?
