in the states. id look here

reports are very good from what i have heard.

vems is open source. many can help with base maps and advice. you need an understanding of tuning at a minimum and soem extra equipment to feedback the desired info.

Hi - Interesting about the two smaller intercoolers. I'm trying to decide how to upgrade the IC on my urS6, and given problems with front bumper space, was wondering whether I could just add in another intercooler same size as stock, maybe down in the other corner. Would certainly be a very cost-effective way of doing things!

How do your 2 intercoolers plumb in and where are they positioned?

      cheers,
      Tom

There are ways of getting a bigger IC at the front of s4's/s6's i'm going to be doing this in a month or so's time.

I believe that anyone can map VEMS,it only depends if they want to.Also the fact that someone can actually have the equipment to listen for knock and a dyno, pretty much can tune with any standalone. However if you are used to doing one thing and are familiar with that, you dont ask that mapper to try to do something else for you. YOu just go to the person who is good at doing that excact thing

mapping is a principle thing. get the basics of gas law and engine timing and the rest is usually ok.

its solving the issues thats potentially gonna be a headache.

after that all systems are much of a muchness from what ive seen. its just learning the little bits about the software products.

vems for the I5 on pnp is on the easy side shall we say. no wiring, creating of loom, setting up sensors, injectors, ignition, how to fire ignition etc etc.

you need to be very careful though as doing things wrong may pop the engine. always be aware of what affect the change will have before you make it.
